Candace Parker the future?

Less than 15 hours after winning the Womens NCAA basketball championship, with her team Tennesee. Candace Parker was taken first in WNBA draft by the Los Angleles Sparks, to play along side Lisa Leslie. They sound like they are going to be good with Lisa Leslie returning from maternity leave. (AP/Google) I still think her leadership on the court will have more of an impact than being the first women to dunk in a college basketball game. Thats cool but, everyone on a neighborhood court in the summer can dunk. Doesnt mean they can lead their team to 2 national titles, in organized basketball. Congratulations, the WNBA might have the new face of their struggling league.

Tyler & Kevin

Every year all these scouts get excited about certain players, this year it was Tyler Hansbrough 6'9" and Kevin Love6'11". All you hear is how tough they are, and how they are ready for the NBA. One thing is certain the scouts always fail us. 2006 it was Adam Morrison, Marvin Williams they have turned out to good players, but I dont think many teams would draft the same way. Did anyone see Kevin Love get run over by Douglas-Roberts and Dorsey laughed at him.

This is college, if he cant set his feet on that play. What is going to happen when he is trying to defend 6' 10" PF Amare Stoudemire?

Kevin love has the most upside, but announcers expect so much out of FRESHMAN. If he stays in and learns defense to go with his offensive prowress. He could be a All Star Center with the shot of Dirk.
