Why is the media still trying to discredit the humanitarian organization represented by the former Fugees member, Wyclef Jean. Yele though it might have some inconsistencies it is clearly not a funnel for Wyclef to raise money. Haiti is the mans second home. It is just foolish to think that Wyclef has donated his own time and his own money for the past 10 years to help provide help and awareness for the poorest country in the western hemisphere, just anticipating waiting for an earthquake to occur so that he may keep the donations and run.
Which brings me to my next point, where the fuck is he going to go. He lives in New Jerusalem (New Jersey) and works in NYC most of the time and his job is writing and producing for American popular artist and recording Kompa Music. Kompa is the traditional type of music that comes from Haiti. If there was such a problem with YELE, then why did the media have a problem with it when he was collecting donations after the hurricane hit the island of Hispaniola. I can tell you why, because the major news media sucks. Not only do they hide behind their journalism ethics, so they don’t have to get “involved” in helping only capturing A story. So that they can just get their high definition camera shots on the ground and trough fly over’s and report on looting interjected with commercial and fucking motto's like “we where there first after the Hurricane hit” or “we where the first to bring you pictures of the aftermath of the Haitian earthquake” “now to Anderson cooper who is reporting from Haiti” FUCK YOU (in the voice from SLC PUNK) no matter how they put it, they are still profiting off of the despair of others.

This is just heartbreaking Revelation that a country ignored by the international community is ignored in their time of most need. I guess the country pick a bad time to be hit by 4 storms. They should have done this before the worldwide financial crisis, they would have at least received some more help than $1 Million dollars. how much money was Thailand given after their monsoon. O there is a difference though, one country is a trade partner. The other country is just over 600 miles away from the U.S. Its a sad time when looking at humanities true focus, themselves. But what can i say, it took the Govt 3 days until they decided to help the victims of Katrina, and if you heed the words of certain representatives of our elected body of law makers. The Government run FEMA(Part of the department of Homeland Security) did a lot more than just help save people.

Where the hell are all these entertainers that only show up when there is a national disaster in some part of the world. Can they not help or bring attention to a subject unless a TV crew is with them. They are just as out of touch as everyone on wall street. Hurricane Gustavo is slated to hit Haiti and Cuba soon, but my assumption is that both countries are on their own. Since the United States does not support Communist nation in any shape or form, Cuba is past being helped. While Haiti, in the eyes of many developed nation has nothing to offer, so who cares. We might see a New Orleans Katrina fiasco, since Haiti can almost provide no social services as it is. Dont get it twisted though, its just not Bush who hates certian people. Most of the world would rather not care, and help other countries recover from tsunamis that aren't even in our hemisphere.
