Some thought for you.

Weekend Links

Came across this article today about the widening gap occurring in America. As well as the impending widening of this gap due to the economy. Drops something that makes me thing, the article is a good read(you just have to scroll down a bit).

Former Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers puts it sharply. If the distribution of income in the U.S. today were the same as it was in 1979, and the U.S. had enjoyed the same growth, the bottom 80% would have about $670 billion more, or about $8,000 per family a year. The top 1% would have about $670 billion less, or about $500,000 a family.

The bottom line: The economy treats female workers more like male workers than it did a generation or two ago. That's a welcome fact. But it doesn't obscure the unwelcome reality that the fruits of America's prosperity aren't being widely shared.

Texans are making a push.

I originally Tivo'ed the New England/Buffalo Game, to watch it later after studying. I thought finding out the score out before watching the game, would spoil it for me. Once I heard Randy Moss caught 4TD's, I have to watch it now. and Terrell Owens Caught 4TD's aswell, these performances should end all talk of those players being called overrated.

Randy Moss
128 yards 4TD's

Terrel Owens
173 yards 4TD's
