4 is a good number, but more than that is just outrageous

Where is the imaginary line of what is fair and just drawn in the minds of many. Reading an article today on MSNBC.com a man in Niger was arrested for having more than 4 wives. Islamic law allows 4 wives for practicing muslims, but I must admit this man just didnt have more than four wives. The story states:

"who has 86 wives and 107 children for
breaking Islamic marriage laws. Niger state police spokesman Richard Oguche says
Mohammed Bello Masaba, 84, was detained Monday."Msnbc.com

86 WIVES, and 107 children, i've driven through towns with less population than this mans immediate family. I do wonder why is he being arrested, I understand that the law in the country of Niger states no more than 4 wives. At the same time at age 84 is there anyway you can acctually punish the man, and its not like he met all 86 wives in the last 24. They could have sent him a warning at 5, 25, or even 50 wives. Just an interesting story, I guess the court system in Niger had a lul and decided this was the time to finally prosecute.
