I don't want to hear this shit anymore from these haters "Obama has been in office a whole year and hasn't done anything, nor has he kept any of his promises." Besides the obvious bullshit of that statement, Obama has finally fulfilled the U.S.A.'s promise to its citizen all the way back to the establishment of the U.N. Deceleration of Human Rights of 1948 in article 25 which states(UN.org):
"* (1) Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control."If you need to be refreshed, the UN was established as a replacement for the League of Nations after the second World war and was encouraged by the current president at the time Harry Truman. In a letter to the UN delegates President Truman wrote
"We represent the overwhelming majority of all mankind. We Speak for people who have endured the most savage and devastating war ever inflicted upon innocent men, women and children. We hold a powerful mandate from our people. . . . . We must build a new world " a far better world " one in which the eternal dignity of man is respected. (rightstohealthcare)"
Past presidents who tried to make it happen and failed include Harry Truman, Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton (Slate.com) That isn't including his other accomplishments such as the Stimulus bill that goes to help tax payers, the opposite of TARP. He has strengthened foreign relations at a time in which the United States was loosing influence due to the economy, and finally telling Israel to stop their expansion into Palestine territory if they ever truly want peace. With that out in the open, tell me a more successful first year of a presidency that you remember?
