Take what you need

For years conspiracy theorist have been talking about the new world order when in reality its not N.O.W. or Illuminati or masons. It is the global elite understanding unbridled capitalism. You can see it in the trend of commoditzation whether it be drugs, food, water, land, or natural resources.

Merriam Webster dictionary defines capitalism as
“a man economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market”

I had a friend tell me years ago “He who makes the gold, makes the golden rules” Ive heard all the shit about the NOW, Illuminati, Free Masons but they are not running the world. Now, can these organizations exist in reality or in loosely tied relationships? Absolutely! The framing every world problem in the context of the Illuminati or shaping the situation that the only way a visible minority can be successful is by joining one of these organizations (Kanye West, Jay-Z (Shawn Carter)). I think that is a little racist or loaded with racist thoughts. Powerful people (The Wealthy, not rich), rich you can run out of money the wealthy cant. I wont put anti society notions past the wealthy decision makers in this world but there not part of any society that sets the world rules. I do imagine that they communicate their desires and decisions to each other in attempt to set up the most profitable situation for them, but that is capitalism right?

I am no economic theorist but what I get out of capitalism from a entrepreneur or business standpoint is, “If you can make money off of something find out how to control it own it, privatize it and sell your product or service for the most money possible.” Coca-Cola owner of Dasani water figured this out years ago to increase their portfolio, and are very successful due to branding marketing and the cultural idiots who pay for it. All bottled water sold is required to indicate their water source for their bottled water. Fiji water is from the artesin springs of FIJI, Evian is from some spring overseas, Nestle water is from the Dallas Municipal water source, Ozarka is from some place in Arkansas, and for Dasani water Coca-Cola uses tap water from local municipal water supplies, streams, and meadows from the natural piped in for the longest capitalist . In my case Dallas, TX who is known for their pristine water supply.
"The drinking water in Dallas has been tested, but officials are awaiting results. Arlington, Texas, acknowledged that traces of a pharmaceutical were detected in its drinking water but cited post-9/11 security concerns in refusing to identify the drug." AP

Bottled water isn't the only the commidization of the public resource water. Take a moment and consider the ways that water has been privatized. Water parks, Swimming Pools, Surf Parks, Artificial beaches, which are all well and good. The owners of the preceding properties are well in then right to own all of this and I fault them not. My problem begins when I observe the manipulation of natural resources to increase or manipulate the supply to increase your demand. the possibility exist that it can be just plain ignorance on the consumers part on their indirect effect on the world.

With the over fishing of the oceans the last 30 years, which has led to great prices on seafood and and canned tuna, it has lead to a decrease in fish density. Which in turn has lead to an explosion in the jellyfish population, who and lead to an explosion of jellyfish who breed in barren waters which attack the shore line leaving the ocean un-enjoyable. It is not only that they breed, but jellyfish produce based on the amount of space available in the ecological chain and in warm water temperatures. They are also one of the few species that are as close to immortal as possible.

"They [Jellyfish] can reproduce to an almost infinite degree, even from relatively small populations, let alone huge swarms. These guys revert to a juvenile form after reproduction, so it means the survey stats on populations could have been quite misleading, for decades, if “juveniles” were post reproductive forms. The ocean ecology could hit a tipping point very rapidly." Chris V. Thangham Digital Journal

This isnt so big of a problem if you do not have an affinity for seafood, but with the increase and Jellyfish ashore of the united states and is devastating economies completely. Below are stories about jellyfish attacks published in the last 24 hrs.

As the human population grows one of the top topics when it comes to international affairs and human rights is the lack food or water in certain regions. Everyone has seen the commercial, for some international organization which shows snap shots of children with rags for clothes, emaciated and dirty as hell with soft music and a number. "for 20 dollars a month you can help (kid name here) eat for a year and go to school for the next year." I'm not criticizing the organization for doing what they can I am criticizing world policy that allows this to happen. We wast tons of food every year in this country alone, enough to feed to the whole world. Why would it be in grain suppliers benefit to give free food and feed the world when they can make little change.

Its not only the food supply that greed is destroying but also Fresh drinking water supply. From supporting farmers who grow ridiculous shit and use tons of fresh water to do it (American Cotton), or the destruction of fresh water lakes when corporations go in looking for minerals and leave it polluted as hell, or even the change in weather patterns that have been attributed for H.A.R.P.. Why are there still thirsty people or areas with droughts, its not like we don't have technology to support this.

Even for US regions that have droughts purifiers and desalination plants could solve that problem. Dust Belt, GA, Steepe climate, we can pipe oil why not water. Its ridiculous for a state that borders the ocean to have a drought. GE in 2007 installed a Desalination plant in Algeria (that's is the north coast of Africa) which makes their company $30 million dollars a year. to turn salt water to fresh water through reverse osmosis. Why inst there one of these in the Continental US where GE is located? MONEY the recent oil spill just complicates matters and sets these companies up to make a lot of money the next 20 years including new or emerging industries that has had their historical imprint and impact discounted for so long

The Epic British Petroleum halliburtion subsidiary horizon platform oil spill of 2010 in the gulf of Mexico will destroy the gulf coast and cause irreparable harm for at the very least 20 year. Increase in Jellyfish, decrease in actual edible fish, Increase in water temperatures, decrease in gulf coast economies. With that shortage fish, suppliers (fisheries on the other coast, or farm raised fish source) will now go to fish farms and fresh water sources to get overpriced fish to the population (you, me & Papadeux). FISH! which should be an abundant source of free food. It swims in an expansive body of water, it has no owners and no human encroachment for the most part. People should be able to survive of of fishing, maybe not eat as much as they want until they get iodine or mercury poisoning yet enough to survive. Now as humans go out of our way to fuck up the world food supply to a point where it can be privatized then the world population will either die from malnutrition or starvation. Or have to depend on the power that be the .01% of the world population who on 99% of the wealth. Keep your eyes opening its happening, use your senses and the tool between your two shoulders. Destroy the environment = Lands unfarm-able, Harp=Change weather patterns to countries who dont really need the extra weather help. destroy the oceans=cultures that traditionally eat fish have to change their whole diet to American grain and farmed animals which are genetically altered to kill us. This BP is some devious shit, or maybe im over analyzing this? tell me what yall think....

Awesome story of the week and some that are horrible

Astonishing Tales Of Insanity: The 23-Mile Parachute Jump vs. Rocket Sled (Deadspin) with Gasoline

Questions?
Why in the hell did someone make a spatula with holes in it. There is always leftover food stuck after cooking breakfast.

I have found a new favorite.
Cheesy bacon waffle fries is a gratuitous master piece of North American culture food. Its half of the food pyramid, and its just appetizer.

How can people want to cut food stamps for people who are starving, but where cheering for the taxpayer financed bailout before they realized how many bonuses those "bailed out once thought to big to fail companies" where giving to their executives that screwed these companies up in the first place? Congratulations for scamming the taxpayers out of their hard earned money then convince them the government is trying to set regulations for how much you can earn.
What I Learned at the AIG Meltdown [Wall Street Journal]
There are four key points to bear in mind:

"One, the insurance policyholders at AIG were protected by reserves that each of the insurance companies are required to hold by state regulation
Two, the unregulated use of credit default swaps and other high-risk instruments by AIG Financial Products,...caused AIG to stumble and threatened the financial system.
Three, in September 2008 the Federal Reserve acted to protect the financial system from what it believed to be an imminent risk of catastrophic damage from AIG Financial Products.
Four, in November 2008, when the Fed restructured its AIG financing..the Fed had over $70 billion already at risk with AIG and was appropriately considering the value and operations of AIG's insurance companies....
The essential lesson of AIG, and of the broader crisis, is the need to reform financial regulation. And that reform should learn from state insurance regulation. One major cause of the subprime disaster was that those who originated mortgages and derivatives could sell them and not worry about their risk or capitalization."[Eric Dinallo Wall Street Journal]

Welfare

During the last month some lady named Nadya Suleman had octuplet's and immediately went on the media circuit. I still cant see why anyone would want or need 8 kids at once, thats a personal decision. For all the critics of the current structure of the welfare system and entitlement programs, congratulations you have cause. It would be one thing if Ms Suleman had these children and had the means to raise them all, but I don't think most people have the means to raise 8 children. A recent report came out through MSNBC as a reaction piece to the interview she had on February 9th, in which she said ""I'm not receiving help from the government. I'm not trying to expect anything from anybody. [I] just wanted to do it on my own. Any resources that someone would really, really want to help us, I will accept, I would embrace.”
Nadya Suleman, the mother of the octuplets born last month, gets $490 a month in food stamps, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday evening. Three of her first children also get federal supplemental security income because they are disabled, the Times reported.

her publicist issued a statement to nbc for the article. (yes the lady who needs welfare has a publicist)
"In Nadya's view, the money that she gets from the food stamp program ... and the resources disabilities payments she gets for her three children are not welfare," he said. "They are part of programs designed to help people with need, and she does not see that as welfare."
When Mrs. Suleman was accused of having all of these kids for money she responded
“That's funny how untrue that is,” Suleman said. “Money? Money is necessary to raise children. But it's — it's paper. It is paper. To me, it is superfluous in contrast to the importance of my kids.”

the article further reports that it will cost millions just to get these children out of the hospital.

NBC chief medical editor Dr. Nancy Snyderman has estimated the cost of delivering the infants and caring for them until they are healthy enough to leave the hospital at $1.5 million to $3 million.

Though I know my view of this entire situation could be considered sexist, misogynistic, or classist. All I can see this situation is screwed up and simple.
Ms. Suleman doesn't see welfare as something for people in need, who else could welfare before Ms. Suleman? The rich, wait don't answer that after the bailout I can see i people can be confused about what welfare is, and is for. If she has 3 children already with disabilities that the government helps her out with, and she still cant afford to feed them. What does she possibly see her self as, not needy?
She cant afford to feed her family every month, she cant afford all the necessary care required for her 3 children at home, yet she can afford in vetro fertilization. BULLSHIT, doesn't that process cost thousands of dollars. How did a single mother afford that if she cant feed their kids, and why did she need them if she already had kids. I thought that process was only for people who have tried to have kids but for whatever reason could not. You don't see an in vetro clinic in the low income areas in Detroit, because poor people don't need 8 kids. I am sure that the million dollar bill from the hospital will be picked up by Ms. Suleman and not the government. If she really wanted a large family why didn't they adopt or get foster children. It sure would have been cheaper for everyone. The children would be taken out of the system, the government will save money by not paying a crappy group home to take care of 8 kids. At a fraction of the cost the government could have supplemented the Sulemans welfare with 50% of their savings from the children being out of group home. On top of that if she really does care so much about family her and her husband could have given 8 children in real need of a home. I
Its not the welfare system that pisses me off its the Ms. Sulemans blatant disregard or respect for the system. Not only do they abuse the system, they didn't even acknowledge the governments assistance. Damn most people are on welfare, its just not for poor people. Its for people in NEED
Welfare is financial assistance paid to people by governments. Some welfare is general, while specific and can only be invoked under certain circumstances, such as a scholarship.

Old Burgers & New Debt

AIG gets more of your tax dollars. [The motley fool]
"AIG will get as much as $37.8 billion from the Treasury, on top of the $85 billion it was granted when it nearly croaked a few weeks ago. That's right, yet another move to keep the insurance behemoth from careening out of control, sending financial markets into more of an abyss than they're already in." (Morgan Housel, The Motley Fool.com)
Where the hell is the vote on this, or is this the 700 billion working through the system lining pockets.

Haiti we do care, the middle class is just to occupied to help right now.

With the looming financial crisis in the USA, many people have not had the energy or time to worry about the state of affairs in other parts of our hemisphere. The Country of Haiti has not just been hit with a continues series of civil unrest in the last years but in the last couple months has been ravaged by hurricanes and tropical storms:

"Civil defense director Maria-Alta Jean Baptiste said in an interview with The Associated Press that 793 bodies have been found so far, and authorities are still looking for bodies in the mud that swamped coastal settlements....
Crews have found 466 bodies in the hard-hit town of Gonaives alone, and government workers are burying the dead immediately to avoid contamination and the spread of infectious diseases, she said.
The four tropical storms that struck in late August and early September also wiped out at least 60 percent of Haitian agriculture and destroyed roads, bridges and homes...
International aid and food has poured in, but the U.N. World Food Program has so far received only $1 million of the $54 million it requested."
(MSNBC, 2008)
This is just heartbreaking Revelation that a country ignored by the international community is ignored in their time of most need. I guess the country pick a bad time to be hit by 4 storms. They should have done this before the worldwide financial crisis, they would have at least received some more help than $1 Million dollars. how much money was Thailand given after their monsoon. O there is a difference though, one country is a trade partner. The other country is just over 600 miles away from the U.S. Its a sad time when looking at humanities true focus, themselves. I am keeping all of the world in my prayers, including the people of Haiti. But what can i say, it took the Govt 3 days until they decided to help the victims of Katrina, and if you heed the words of certain representatives of our elected body of law makers. The Government run FEMA(Part of the department of Homeland Security) did a lot more than just help save people.

Where the hell are all these entertainers that only show up when there is a national disaster in some part of the world. Can they not help or bring attention to a subject unless a TV crew is with them. They are just as out of touch as everyone on wall street. Just profiting off of the citizens, and then complaining about the attention and blaming others for their problems. Sheesh

Premier BUSH

If there was a magic wand, Bush would have given it to Halliburton.

“If there was a magic wand to wave, I’d be waving it, of course,” he told reporters at a Rose Garden news conference called on short notice. “But there is no magic wand to wave right now. It took us a while to get to this fix.”(MSNBC)
George Bush

This is the pinnacle of Executive branch arrogance, not once in this entire speech did President Semi-elect George Walker Bush. It is the congresses fault since they have encouraged war in Iraq to track Bin Laden, or was that sadam who knocked down the World Trade Center. You seem to have all these ideas, that encourage tax cuts. How do tax cuts pay for a multi-trillion dollar war? Not one analyst could explain that simple concept to me. But going into additional debt as a county is the answer in $600 tax refunds. It sounds like a lot now, but it isn't when consumers calculate their lost value during this administration. Housing values have plummeted alot more than $6.00, the price of gas has increased from about $1.34 to damn near $4.00 in less than 8 years. That $600 dollars is not nearly enough to compensate every citizen who footed the bill for the American elite tax cuts and the disastrous effects it along with a war with no direction has cost our country. Our grandchildren will be looking in the history book wondering how this could possibly happen to a nation of sensible people.

Pace of foreclosures more than doubles from same quarter in 2007

Housing prices drop at fastest pace ever: Standard & Poor’s/Case-Shiller index off 12.7 percent in Feb.

$600 dollars does not cover a 12.7 percent drop, much less in one month. Sheesh wake up people, pull the wool off of your eyes.

Riot Alert: Haiti;Wyclef for President

Haiti is one of the poorest countries if not the poorest county in the world is back in the news. Political turmoil has been part of the status quo since the 50's, but not until recently has this tipping point finally been reached due to the rising cost of living and a food shortage. Rene Preval, the raining emperor/president of Haiti decided to stand up and make a statement for his country.
"To those who are stirring up violence, I order you to stop because it is not going to solve the problem," Rene Preval

Way to be proactive Captain Obvious. Riots rarely stop any problem, but they are the voice of the forgotten. It is obvious that the people in HAITI need HOPE and food. In a country with the land size that is smaller land size than Maryland and a population of 8 million plus. Captain obvious needs a better plan then telling the people of the great country to stop. BBC reports on his address to citizens earlier today.

Food prices, which have risen 40 percent on average globally since mid-2007, are causing unrest around the world. But they pose a particular threat to democracy in Haiti, where most people live on less than US$2 (euro1.27) a day.

Preval acknowledged that in his address, saying Haiti's predicament comes partly from its dependence on imported rice that has weakened national production.

But it was unclear whether the address would appease the rioters, who are demanding Preval's resignation for failing for tame the rising prices. (AP)

In a country with no major exports and not enough natural resources or agricultural resources to provide adequate food for the population. What in the hell are you doing, if the people and Haiti are starving.

I hope I am wrong but this might be another coup d'etat to add to Haiti's volatile yet rich history.
Wyclef for President, he isnt elected and he cares. Vote for Haiti's favorite Son.

Ron Mexico and Bob Barker

Ron Mexico Goes to Jail
Michael Vick got a head start on a possible long prison stretch Monday, surrendering three weeks before he was to be sentenced for his involvement in a bloody dogfighting ring. MSNBC<

Why would anyone go to jail the week of Thanksgiving? The judge is going to feel bad for you giving up your Thanksgiving holiday, for justice and time served. Would it make that much of a difference to go in 2 days from now after dinner. Maybe he is just trying to stay out of trouble, or anymore Ron Mexico Sightings.

JFK hates baby kittens
Authorities at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport began rounding up wild cats and kittens on Monday as part of a plan to get rid of them, despite an outcry by animal rights groups. MSNBC

so it is okay for the government to kill animals, but Michael Vick is a felon for killing dogs? If people would listen to Bob Barker JFK wouldnt have a cat problem, "Help control the pet population; have your pet spayed or neutered"

More Bob Barker, and bad contestents.

How did she win, that is amazing

Take a picture it will last longer

Seriously they might be gone in a couple years.
Giant pandas are being forced to move from a remote mountainous area in southwestern China due to food shortages as their staple bamboo withers, an animal expert said Monday.
